About Me
I have liked to draw since I was in around 2nd grade. Even
now, when I'm aggravated at work, I can take a 1 minute vacation, and do a
quick face or a pair of hands...(hey, whatever works, right)?
Anyway, I've messed with computer games for about 10 years,
and have dabbled with graphics on occasion. I had mixed emotions about the
quality of that work. My work is involved with SGML language for publication,
so HTML is pretty close(and a lot more forgiving). Cedge turned me on to
PSP ages ago, but I didn't do much with it except some of the Digitoils tuts.
When I was at Cedge's home in 1996 for Thanksgiving, he showed me PI 3.0. He
raved about the program, and basically on his sayso, I got PI 4 not long after
that.
It was a bit frustrating at first, primarily because I was
overwhelmed with its' options. But I persevered, and discovered the newsgroup
through Cedge. I also participate in various graphics forums in whatever capacity
I can, especially if when PhotoImpact is its' center piece. Being on the boards
has been a real eye opener for me. It is a great pleasure to try and identify
graphics challenges to share, and take.
Personally, I am married to Bobbi, and have two girls, two
cats, a dog, I try to keep active in local community events and leadership,
and am a tennis fanatic. Oh, I love to read books, too!
