I have liked to draw since I was in around 2nd grade. I've
found that it relaxes me at times. Even now, when I'm
stressed or aggravated at work, I can take a 1 minute
vacation, and draw a quick face or a pair of hands...(hey,
whatever works, right)?
Anyway, I've messed with computer games for about 10
years,(haven't done that in about 10 years now, at least
not seriously), and have dabbled with graphics on
occasion. I had mixed emotions about the quality of that
work. At the time I originally wrote this page, my work
was involved with SGML language for publication, so HTML
is pretty close (and a lot more forgiving). Cedge turned
me on to PSP ages ago, but I didn't do much with it except
some of the Digitoils tuts. When I was at Cedge's home in
1996 for Thanksgiving, he showed me PI 3.0. He raved about
the program, and basically on his recommendation, I got PI
4 not long after that.
It was a bit frustrating at first, primarily because I was
overwhelmed with its options. But I persevered, and
discovered the some of the newsgroups through Cedge. I
also participate in various graphics forums in whatever
capacity I can, especially when PhotoImpact is its center
piece. Being on the boards has been a real eye opener for
me. It is a great pleasure to try and identify graphics
challenges to share, and take.
Anymore, I don't really work with PI except an occasional
photo edit, I have started to make money
here on the web and
locally. I'll be adding links to what I do as time
permits.
Personally, I am married to Bobbi, and have two daughters,
one married, one a college junior, two cats, and a dog. I
try to keep active in local community events and
leadership, and am building 3 businesses. More about that as time permits, but if you're looking for
extra cash and some solid home based businesses, let me know.
