This is a quick way to make a basketweave for what ever you like. Hats are easy, too.
1. 400x400. Open your Easy Palette and open the Gallery. Select
the Painting gallery.
2. Choose Slats filter in Painting Gallery
R/C and choose modify properties
Fineness: 200
Opacity: 600
Angle: 0
Pattern: 41
Leave Tile and Non-clipped unchecked.
Press Apply to check the results.
3. Slats filter in Painting Gallery.
R/C and modify
Fineness: 200
Opacity: 600
Angle: 90
Pattern: 41
Leave Tile and Non-clipped unchecked. Press Apply.
4. Effect: 2D/Whirlpool. Choose Options
Counterclockwise.
Twist Degrees 720.
5. Elliptical Gradient fill.
Choose Multiple color on Attributes toolbar.
Click on color and select color wheel 004.
Merge: Difference.
6. Slats filter in Painting Gallery.
R/C and modify
Fineness: 200
Opacity: 600
Angle: 45
Pattern: 41
Leave Tile and Non-clipped unchecked. Press Apply.
7. Slats filter in Painting Gallery.
R/C and modify
Fineness: 200
Opacity: 600
Angle: 135
Pattern: 41
Leave Tile and Non-clipped unchecked. Press Apply.
